Your contribution helps provide daily care, enrichment, and ongoing improvements for all of the animals at Big Red’s Barn, from our sloths and capybaras to our wallabies, reptiles, birds, and barnyard friends.
What your support goes toward
Funds from the Animal Care & Enrichment Fund are used for:
🐾 Animal Care
- Fresh produce, hay, and specialty diets
- Veterinary care, medications, and wellness checks
🧠 Enrichment
- Toys, climbing structures, puzzle feeders, and training tools
- Activities that encourage natural behaviors and mental stimulation
🏡 Habitat & Facility Care
- Bedding, sanitation, climate control, and enclosure improvements
- Safety and comfort upgrades
🌱 Sustainability & Education
- Our hydroponic vegetable growing system
- Nutrition, sustainability, and animal education programs
A quick note
While Big Red’s Barn is not classified as a nonprofit, caring for exotic and domestic animals is an extremely expensive and ongoing commitment. Contributions to this fund help us provide the highest level of care, enrichment, and habitat quality for every animal in our barn.
